This medication is typically used for actinic keratosis.
How to use this medication
Do not let this product come in contact with your eyes.
This medication is typically used only once a day. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. If you forget a dose, apply it as soon as you remember -- unless it is almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed one. Do not apply more to try to catch up.
Possible side effects
In addition to its desired action, this medication may cause some side effects, notably:
- it may cause skin crusting;
- it may cause dryness and peeling of the skin;
- it may give a reddish colour to the skin;
- it could cause water retention and swelling;
- it may cause skin ulceration;
- it may cause blisters at the application site.
Storage information
Keep this product in the refrigerator and do not allow it to freeze. Keep it out of reach of young children. Make sure that any leftover portion is disposed of safely.
