Directions for Use: Ellipta inhaler™

  • Slide the protective cover down until you hear a "CLICK". Do not open the cover until you are ready to take a dose. If the cover is opened and closed without inhaling the product, the dose will be lost.

  • Hold the inhaler away for your mouth and breathe out deeply.

  • Place the inhaler between your lips and close lips firmly around the mouthpiece.
  • Take a long, steady breath in and hold for as long as possible.
  • Remove the inhaler from your mouth.
  • Breathe out gently.

  • If you wish to clean the inhaler, simply wipe the outside of the mouthpiece with a tissue.
  • Replace the protective cap before putting the inhaler away.
  • The Ellipta device is equipped with a dose counter. It will count down by 1 every time the cover is opened.
